bound for belize, only 4 flights to go!

well..i'm off.

i'm not nervous. i'm just excited. i have no set plan, just a rough outline of where i'd like to go. we'll see where i end up, how i get there, and who i met along the way! its really strange that i'm not nervous about this trip at all - my mom and my friends are much more nervous than i am! maybe i'm getting used to this whole travel thing, or maybe its the calm before the storm and i'll get really nervous once i land. who knows - i'm not terribly worried about it!

so here is a photo of all that i am bringing with me. this may not be that exciting, but i haven't left yet! by the numbers: one sleeping bag liner, one hoodie, one raincoat, one swimsuit, sandals, sneakers, mace, first aid kit, and swiss army knife. three pairs of pants, three t-shirts, one long sleeve, five pairs of socks and underwear. two small books, one journal, one notebook, one phrasebook, and one guidebook. one camera, three memory cards, two tubes of sunscreen, one hat, and one roll of toilet paper.
